One of the best all around mobile phone application vendors I have found is Handango (U.S. based but they also serve international customers).

Handango has a large variety of games for the mobile phone and among those are some good soccer game offerings. Great for when you are stuck at an airport, need a well deserved distraction or just have some down time to play. Offerings include EA’s FIFA 08, European Cup Soccer 2008, Master Kick, Air Hockey and Air Soccer.

There are other soccer/football related downloads that are interesting: Handango offers the English Premier League 2008/2008 Schedule with online updation results with ability to track by Date & Teams. Points Table, Statistical & Comparitive analysis and many more.

Note: not all titles are available or compatible with all phones but there are usually a few selections for each phone. Rarely there are no soccer offerings but there are other games that are compatible.

Handango’s site is easy to navigate and you start by putting in the name (manufacturer and model) of your phone and what you are looking for (games, travel info, etc) and a list comes up showing what is available. The prices are reasonable and some applications are free such as weather and traffic info.
